Respond   Project management skills are highly fundamental in the nursing and healthcare industry overall as they help in controlling costs, managing risk, and improving project outcomes. They equally provide pragmatic and practical approaches for the implementation of projects in the healthcare setting.  As a project manager, numerous factors must be taken into consideration in understanding a budget to ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget. Today, I know much about project development than I did before. Through the completion of the project templates, I was able to apply the concepts of leadership skills in project management for the development, implementation, and evaluation of successful project plans.  Project Management task in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) application creates achievement of predefined performance measures, which could help decide the project performance, irrespective of the object. I learned that WBS is the start of the planning process and the basis for the project forecasting. The use of WBS provides a strong foundation for prediction management to allow project activities. Stages/phases of work are easily manageable utilizing a WBS.  A WBS offers an efficient means of accurately estimating costs and highlighting deliverables (significant goals to be achieved).   During the initial project budget, I better understand the value of searching for differences between the cost baseline and the actual amount to spend on a project.  Risks could threaten to derail a project.  Budgetary control is concerning when the calculation of the project budget is overestimated and overdraft during the implementation stage.   The risks must be known and must be managed and mitigated effectively.
